PETER RUNDQUIST

Peter Rundquist is an award-winning composer, sound designer, and film mixer whose work spans film, television, and experimental music. A former Wall Street analyst turned sonic storyteller, he has created original scores and soundscapes for major networks and platforms including PBS, Disney, ESPN, BBC, and Nickelodeon.
Recent credits include the Emmy- and Peabody-winning Frontline series Confronting ISIS, PBS’s American Experience feature The Great War, and the Sundance award-winning documentary Buck. His sound design and final mix work extend across documentary and narrative projects, bringing immersive depth and clarity to each story.
As co-founder of the instrumental group Zoar, Rundquist released several albums on Point Music, the Philip Glass label, fusing classical, ambient, and experimental rock. He also produced Straight From The Delta, a collection of blues field recordings, and has collaborated with artists such as DJ A-Trak, Corey Harris, Taj Mahal, Dr. John, and B.B. King.
A multi-instrumentalist and lifelong student of folk and roots traditions, he incorporates rare stringed instruments and unique tunings into his compositions.
